Friday 4th May took place the opening ceremony of the new language laboratory of the Istituto Comprensivo Completo “Antonio Schiantarelli of Asola (Middle High School), realized thanks to the donation of 25 PCs from IES. The opening had been attended by Antonino Gulotta, Director of the refinery, and Umberto Parolini, principal of the school, teachers and students.

On Tuesday 10th April 2012 IES Refinery started its 2012 Turnaround, which will be completed by the end of April. With the contractors’ staff that will help during the operations, the total of people working in the refinery will double.
On the occasion of the Turnaroud, in addition to the usual training courses for plant and contractor employees, IES is realizing an information and awareness campaign for a safety behavior: OBIETTIVO ZERO INCIDENTI (zero accidents target)!

A new safety campaign started at IES to sensitize awareness of correct use of internal refinery routes: to remind to all drivers inside the refinery the rules of the road, a flyer has been prepared.
This quick guide focus on three important rules: the compulsory use of seatbelt, effective even inside the internal routes; the respect of the speed limit, which is 15 Km/h inside the refinery; attention to road signs, useful to understand how to move inside the plant.
